Ford returns to Le Mans

It’s official: Ford has announced its return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This time, the American automaker will not compete in the GT class, as it did during its recent victory with the Ford GT, but will instead aim for overall victory in the Hypercar category.
No official photos have been released yet, but all indications suggest that Ford will once again rely on its racing partner, Canadian company Multimatic, whose workshops are located near Toronto. Multimatic was responsible for the latest Ford GT as well as the impressive Mustang GTD. In fact, these Mustang GTDs already claimed victory in their class (GTD Pro) at the 24 Hours of Daytona this past January.
Ford’s highly anticipated return to the WEC (World Endurance Championship) is scheduled for 2027.
