Clarios, une entreprise du Wisconsin spécialisée dans le stockage d’énergie à basse tension, annonce un investissement de 6 milliards $ US afin d’accroître sa production et de renforcer l’innovation américaine dans ce domaine.

In addition to building new plants, Clarios plans to expand its existing facilities and create new jobs. By 2035, the company aims to optimize the production of advanced batteries with a budget of approximately $2.5 billion. This investment includes the development of Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) batteries and other emerging technologies, aiming to reduce U.S. dependence on imports.

Clarios also aims to recover 100% of materials from used batteries, an initiative backed by a similar $2.5 billion USD budget. Additionally, $1 billion USD will be allocated to developing next-generation technologies, while $600 million USD will be used to modernize its operations. Clarios already operates 16 manufacturing plants in the United States and employs 5500 people across 32 states.
